Interview with Living Proof Promotions

Questions:

1.) So for starters, why don't you introduce yourself. What is your bands 
name and what do you do in the band?
      >My name is Angel Mora and I play in a band called Closed Campus. I 
play guitar and sing vocals for the band.


2.) How many others are in the band?
      >Its a three piece group including myself. We have Carlos Ramirez 
who does bass guitar for us. And Jesus Franco on the drums.


3.) What kind of music do you guys play and where are you guys from?
      >We are a rock band that has a mixture of punk, alternative, and 
acoustic. We are from McAllen, TX. Way South of Texas


4.) How did the band meet, and what made you all want to start a 
band?
      >I had the whole project going on about two years before I met my 
band mates. A lot of the music we play now are songs that were written two years 
ago. After taking a break from the whole thing, I really felt like I wanted to 
get a band back together. A friend of mine introduced me to his brother, Carlos 
and Carlos brought in Jesus. A week after getting together for the first time, 
we played our first show. I guess having the music written helped. I was like 
"here our the songs, add your own style to it and have fun." I just knew that I 
always wanted to be part of a band and be successful in one. I love music. Which 
is why I wanted to start one.


5.) Any cool news we should know about? (New music/videos and such)
     >We are currently working on our album right now and planning to 
tour this summer. I think thats the biggest news for us right now.


6.) If you couldn't be in a band what would you be doing?
      >I would still be playing music one way or another. Its what I 
love. After lots of trial and error on finding a college major that I love, 
answering to people on what it is I want to do with my life, and so on. I just 
know that music is what I should be doing. It just feels right. Nothing else 
compares.


7.) What bands influence you the most?
      >KISS is the band that probably really started it for me. Ace 
Frehley is the person that made me want to play guitar at a very young age. 


8.) Name one random fact about yourself or the band that people might not 
know!
      >Many people that Ive met over the last year probably dont know how 
much of a quiet person I use to be. I am a whole lot better at saying what I 
want to say now. Im pretty sure I have music to blame for that.
